When working for Hot Tin Roof, Julie delivered a six-month campaign promoting Heriot-Watt University’s presence at Dubai Expo, highlighting its 200-year history of innovation in AI, robotics, net zero, energy, and construction.
Collaborating closely with Heriot-Watt’s communications teams in Edinburgh and Dubai, she helped develop and execute coordinated PR, social media, and stakeholder engagement activity – working alongside the university’s public affairs agency to ensure message alignment across all channels.
Through monthly global comms meetings, content was tailored for both UK and UAE media, delivering clear, impactful messaging and securing outstanding media coverage that raised Heriot-Watt’s international profile.
