The COMPASS Project appointed Holler PR to support the nationwide expansion of Prostate FFIT (Football Fans in Training), a 12-week exercise and wellbeing programme for men with prostate cancer. Delivered near key urological cancer centres, it combines nutrition support with gentle physical activity to improve strength, manage side effects, and boost wellbeing.
Julie worked closely with the COMPASS Project team lead to develop regional PR campaigns and collaborated with delivery partners to share powerful participant stories, capturing the emotional and physical impact in men’s own words to inspire new registrations.
This storytelling-led approach generated strong media interest, with heartfelt stories featured across broadcast, print, and online platforms for regional and national audiences. It helped build trust, raise awareness, and encourage participation.
“Julie is a joy to work with – full of passion, enthusiasm, and unwavering support. Her friendly professionalism and methodical approach meant she quickly became a subject matter expert, understanding the nuances of prostate cancer and its treatment.
"She handles men’s stories with great care and respect, preparing them sensitively for media interviews. Her exceptional media contacts and consistent success in securing coverage have been integral to Prostate FFIT’s impact. I truly consider her part of our team.”
